ChessCore ("we", "us", "the app") is a chess app developed by Lennart Soligard. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

How we use your information

We use the information above only to operate ChessCore: authenticating you, running matches and tournaments, displaying your stats and ratings, enabling friend and club features, and unlocking Premium content for active subscribers. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Subscription (ChessCore Premium)

Where your data is stored

ChessCore uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database) to store account and gameplay data securely. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Sharing with other users

Your username, country, profile photo, and public stats may be visible to other players (for example, in leaderboards, tournaments, or during a game). Chat messages are only visible to the people in that conversation.

Children's privacy

ChessCore is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
